Two of My Favorite Things To Photograph

The weather is getting nice but the fire danger is really bad right now.  The fire department has been really busy.  Yesterday some friends house caught fire.  They stopped it and it rekindled last night and they lost it.  We went to see if they needed anything from us.  While we were there my husband got called to a Grass fire. We went when things were all done and they were clearing out.  Because of the cut backs on the DNR (Dept. of Natural Resources) they had to call on other  departments.  This fire burned about four acres.  It was quite windy so it really pushed the fire.  (This is the part of the story that you that know me will get the title of this post) Now here are the  guilty parties.  One of them picked up a bunch of dried grass to see if it would burn.   Well he burned his hand a little and dropped it. Well he found out the hard way that yes it would burn.  When they left they walked down to the farm down the road for lunch and to wait for the elders.  I can't imagine that they will be very happy with them.  It almost burned down the neighbors house too.  Now my husband is out on another brush fire.

Nice reporting shots. Like the 'burn' shot showing the culprits with the damage. And also 'other' and 'acres' good captures of the heros. Great focus in all.
