Images from Ireland 3 - Mrs. Driver's Perspective
As promised, here are some of the pictures my wife took during our sojourn around Ireland in October. She would be the first to admit that she doesn't know an f-stop from a shutter speed, but with the Canon S2-IS in her hands, that doesn't seem to matter. She really has a very good eye. She often uses a wide-angle extension over the built-in 12:1 zoom lens, and when the the internal lens is zoomed all the way in, the extension produces a soft-edge distortion that makes for a very nice effect.
And: for those of you who have asked to see more of these photos, I've now posted 101 images from the first week on the web. You can either manually click through the entire collection (give it a minute to load), or watch the whole week flash by in 101 seconds. These collections were assembled using Photoshop Elements 5.0.
Now then, on to week TWO !
