Last July we were in Spearfish, South Dakota. We took some time to go sightseeing and we wound up at Bear Country USA. If you are ever out that way you should stop by it is a great place to view and photograph "captive" subjects. Here are a few shots from that day...

    The bear looks like he is studying what is below and maybe getting ready to play or jump on something...In Tag the black one looks like he is getting ready to be tagged by two (not fair)..SD is one of the 14 states I have not been too...on the list though.  A good title for peek-a-boo

    Bug, I was in Spearfish back in October. I've got a friend with a cabin overlooking the creek and another friend in Custer. The Black Hills are gorgeous.

    Bear - looks like he's scratching his back on the branch above him. Peek - nice foxy shot. I love the eyes. My favorite, though, is tag. Like cratchet says. It's amazing that all kids seem to like to play.

    Great set LeeAnn!  For "captive" shots, they all are in natural looking backgrounds.... looks like a good place!  I love the foxes eyes!!!
