Good morning, everyone. In  my house, there is a distinctive lack of statues/figurines. So, I took a little creative liscence and dug out some of my old action figure collection. :D Just to be on theme, I did take a picture of our lil meeces and their shadows; after that, its all figgers, lol. I used my Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Trinity from the Matrix, Yoda from Star Wars, Fathead Han Solo (I'm not being mean, that's what this figure from 1973 is known as) from Star Wars, Lego Rogue of the X-Men, and my Spike Collection plus one Buffy figure. I got down on their level to do this shoot-boy, did my legs cramp up, lol! but it was worth it. Thanks for looking, and comments are always welcome. :D

Figurines are all they.  (Sorry my Yoda is slipping out.)

I like  meeces the best, good comp.  I like the angle and the fact the shadow isn't directly behind the figures.

Some of these pictures are soft on the focus which bothers me a bit, but meeces is cute, and I think the shadow really makes the picture :)

Absolutely, they fit the theme.  Whimsical/collectable catagory :)  I agree with MrQ: nice use of side light to cast the shadow so it isn't directly behind the meeces.  As DrZ said, It seems like your autofocus might have been having difficulty.  Nice collection, nice post.

Agree with all the above - very nice figures, and nice, up-close shots.  You may have gotten too close for auto focus, if you're using that . . . see if your camera has a macro focus, you can usually shoot much closer if so.

Terrific choices for the theme, I agree they do seem a bit soft, and if you don't have macro settings try backing up a bit, then cropping for sharper focus.
