Ahh, Damselflies in love.  You could probably sell them for a million bucks on ebay.

(I only mention that they are damselflies be I like the name better for the slender little guys.)

dee - these are awesome shots and great eye in seeing them and getting in close to capture the details. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. It's like dragon yoga.

Come on Dub, you've seen something like this. :P    Anyway, cool capture. Did you notice that they form a heart.

I love the way they form a heart. If bugs are going to do the wild thing right there in front of us, then it's cool they've got the symbolism going on. Great shots, very clear and extraordinary detail.

Dub Honey, Dub Honey--dragon yoda? Come home from work early and let's ... chat.

after all, a heart is the universal symbol of love...

the dragonflies were everywhere by the dock. i was in my own little world shooting away. sitting very still. i was really up-close.

'till one of my young nephews splashes over and invades my space asking loudly...whatcha takin' a picture of that grass fer?

i moved and they flew away.     ...moment over.

what?...he had a good dunkin' comin'!

good thing i wasn't on life guard duty at that time.

I would frame the second, third, and fourth as a story board and sell them!  Nice job!

Fabulous shots Dee . . . besides the obvious, unusual nature of the subject matter, the colors and clarity are excellent.  It does seem apparent that they aren't missionary dragonflies . . . .
