I live near a bog nature preserve that provides a wonderful place to stroll in every season of the year. Fall is especially beautiful! Here are a few serene images from a recent visit. Boardwalk through the bog A Quiet Path.jpg Orange Violet Golden Into the Darkness.jpg
di - while the paths look very nice and I'm sure each would be a joy to walk down and seeing what's around your corners, photographically I like Orange above all the others. The composition, color and depth of field are perfect and there is a focus to this shot that is not there as strongly in some of the other shots. Fine job.

Nice set, with liking the first and third one the most of the bunch.

Beautiful set. Orange and violet are my favorites but I'll bet in another week or so they'll be more color to capture on the quiet path, it looks like a great walking place : )
- Inspired by nature
Perhaps because my technical skills are still immature, I'm more drawn to photographs that evoke feelings - as does your A Quiet Path. It looks so like the paths in Indiana where I use to ride my horse, and reminds me of a particularly happy time in my life. At the same time it makes me feel sad that it's only a memory.

Pat -- My personal favorite among my own set is Quiet Path for the reasons you put into words. It evokes a feeling. The lone red tree is part of that. It's a beautiful day here again and I am setting out to take Angie's advice and re-capture that path (if I can find it!!) with more color to see what new feelings will emerge. My technical skills are definitely in the beginning stages -- and I appreciate all the comments and critiques. I want to learn an improve upon my skills.
Gotta go with Orange as my favorite. A pretty set though
