Don't play what's there, play what's not there.

This is a the brilliance that is Annie Leibovtiz and Miles Davis. This shot was taken on the 4th of July, I had been listening to alot of Davis and remembered that Annie Leibovitz had taken an amazing portrait of him. I ran and got my mom's copy of her book Photographs 1970-1990 and flipped to the page. It took about an hour to set it all up and get the right settings of my camera down. I remember getting really frustrated with this because I had to set up my tripod to be right over me but not in the shot as well. Annie Leibovitz greatly influenced my love of photography and portraiture. By far one of my favorite photographers. : ) As for Miles Davis...he's the reason I love music especially the Blues.
