If those are the same yellow butterfly's that we have around here, I"ve never seen one even land-you did great in capturing them, I esp. like the last one and like your framing too. What program?

Well I realized the first one was out of focus but I figured it fit for the challenge undrer blurred action.
Yeah it took a sec for me to get the right exposure for the fast shutter speed and I think the last one is too bright on the one wing but oh well. Yeah the second is my fav. too cause he was about to land and I love how you can see his "tongue" searching for the center of the flower before his feet even touch down.
Yeah They would do a lot of fluttering and not a lot of landing...It was a lot of me standing there wondering and guessing as to which flower they would find next. Took over 200 shots of them and lots of the shots are of just flowers cause they are sooooo fast. Your butterflies are still nicer to look at. ;)!!! I just use Photoshop.
Thanks guys for the nice comments....as usual...Oh and Good Morning to ya!!!!!

Yep, first is off-focus, and last has the wing blown out a bit, but nice stop-action challenge shot. Tough to shoot bright yellow in harsh light, properfly expose the background and not blow out the bright stuff.

Dub you are so NOT anonymous!!! ;)!!! Thanks guys! I did my best. But I think I will try again when the sun is setting instead of high noon. Definately will be better for my shot and the sweat factor....It is still hot here!

first one a little out of fucos but I sure loved the second one. I know it takes a lot of patience to get a butterfly shot. A lot of snapping trying to get one.
1 is a little out of focus...but 2 and 3 are keeper. Good work.

Great job on the last of catching it in flight. The light was a little harsh but I think over all you did a great job with 2 & 3
