My friend Taylor made a surprise visit to Gboro today and I got to try out these neat macro attachments he has that go between your camera body and the lens. Almost immediately after uploading this pictures I called my mom and said "This is what I want for Christmas!"

Extension tube are fun. You did really good. They can be tough to find a good focus point at times. I really enjoyed..Ladybug.

Yeah, it took me a good 5 or so minutes before I figured out how to focus it because the Automatic focus doesn't work on it.

Love ladybug, almost looks like  a spot-o-color.  Methinks it needs a little crop off the left.  Great focus on all.

NIce to see you finding new and interesting ways to express yourself.  I also love Ladybug, but to be different...Blending In symbolizes your atisizm better.   I think it's my personal favorite, because it says something!  Hope you get your christmas wish.  Can't wait to see what else you come up with.

I love extension tubes.  I use them for almost all the macros you've seen in the past year.  I have to agree with the duck.  I like the ladybug in color, but would like to see it cropped (the leaf is distracting with it barely being in the frame).  I like the b&ws but the focus doesn't seem as crisp (nor the tones) so the color is my pick.

I got a small tube with one of my lenes, but I have not tried anything with it yet. I like your shots, but I am partial to the color.

Yep, also me for the color one and the crop. Nice dof on these, once you figured out how to do it. Extension tubes rock!

Nice work. macros are so fun. I like the colored ladybug more. I guess because I like the color so much. ;)

I haven't played with my extension tube lately. They are a lot of fun but of course you have to shoot manual on my camera with it. A good job and I like the others like the lady bug in color and a little croppping on it.

Thanks everyone. I always hesitate in cropping my photos because I'm afraid I'll just make it look worse...I liked having the leaf in the shot but I can see how it would be distracting.

jaime..I like your b/w, but they seem a little underexposed and lacking contrast.
