Our bird feeders have been very busy lately so I thought it would be a perfect time to capture our feathered friends. Maybe not. The Juncos are back for the winter and apparently very suspicious  watching his back This couple refused to even  look at me The Nuthatch wouldn't pose anywhere with an interesting backdrop and this Bluejay just looked  annoyed

Okay, I'll give you one, but you have to get my  good side

I'd like to apologize for the sheer corniness of this post.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

Awesome bird captures. ;) The doves looking away is cute. I like the Nuthatch, They move too much for me to capture at times. But at my bird feeder these days one has to stay on the move to get away from the neighborhood street kitties. ;(

Nice set Angie. I know how hard birds are to photograph. I have been trying to get a shot of a Mocking Bird for a couple of months. There are about a dozen around the house, but they just won't cooperate. Those doves look very well fed, even with ruffled feathers.

Angie, apparentlty they have heard about you and your internet bird pictures. ;-)

I like the doves a lot. Perhaps you could put up an interesting background on a big posterboard and put the feeder in front of it with a sign that says "Stand here. And then smile. Or else."

Tried to get a nice picture of a raven up on a pole yesterday and as soon as he saw the camera he turned his head. These are neat bird pictures.

I like the annoyed shot best, he appears to be looking for his next bite to eat.
