The composition in the second shot is very nice. I like the lines in the background and the texture of the wood. The shot would be better with more light, though. The overcast day is muting the color. A flash may have helped. Also, there may be too many subjects here. I think the wine glass alone with the vineyard behind might work, maybe even adding the logo rooster. I like having the rose there because it goes with the rooster coloring, but then I start fumbling about in search of a subject to focus on.

Both are quite nice. The first needs some cropping on the left, maybe get rid of those extra grapes (there nothing over there to hold my attention). The second, a lot of little things might impove it, cloning out all those trees around the rooster, turning the rose so some of the stem shows, filling the glass - nice lines a textures though.

As cute as the rooster is I think I would have left him out and used a different background just for him. He's blocking such pretty scenery. And the wine glass definitely needs to be filled :o) I like the grape shot and agree about the crop on that. I hope to make it out there some day, I loooove winery's.

I like the rooster, but it either needs to be closer to the wine glass or all by itself. The grapes look yummy! lol. :o)

I like the rooster but I agree with Mr Q - That wine glass needs some wine in it and then trade the rose for a small bunch of grapes and a few grape leaves and then throw the background out of focus a little ... IMHO ...

I like the rooster shot but have to agree a little wine in the glass and a few grapes instead of a rose but I do like the background and the slight out of focus that it is.
