I like the skyline because the effect makes it looks real oldschool. LIke it should be on a fading polariod. Not to mention the comp is spectacular. Were you by any chance using a telephoto lens and not wide on this shot? It appears to have spacial compression... but I like the effect with the idea of a wide shot.

Nice set! I like the details and the skip of water in the pelican and the last one, like emf said very old looking. I like how everything comes together in it. Good job! ;o)

Landing, I like it, but think the sepia is a little heavy. Seasons end, with that tint you gave it, it looks like a bad storm is a comin' Coast skyline, very nice feel to it. Looks old, but too many high rises to be old. I would have liked to have seen the orginal.

In agreement with MrQ about the tall bldg in skyline throwing off not being from 'old past', but I do like the effect it represents--and glad you put in the orginal as a comparison. Seasons End--something missing just can't put into words what, maybe it is the overall starkness/twilight effect is seems to be sending.

Ash, although I usually don't like these sort of affects, I do like that skyline shot a lot. Nice work.

Landing my favorite. You wouldn't think sepia would work with this subject but it definately does.
Great set Ash!

You dug a hole in a boat Ashton? And you should never dig with a nice lens.

Thanks for the early gift. I like the dramatic sky of the sepia one, but the overall feel of the untouched one.
