fish - I love the old signs, but the ground ones don't do anything for me. My favorite, though, is still the one you're using for a thumb.

i am with Dub.. Love the old signs... and also feel so sad for it's decay.. we took that route two years ago... great captures :)

Hadn't thought of Whiting Bros in years.... do they still have those out west? Route 66 is sure part of our vanishing Americana, glad you are documenting what is left....

I have to agree with dub... and I will go further and say the first sign shot is stronger than the second. Your post from yesterday reminded me slightly of william eggleston.
