I can't find a flower one to shoot, so, i've been getting to know some new models lately.
We've done a couple of shoots together and it's beeen fun getting to know these girls. i thought i'd share a few of the candid shots i've been getting. mostly it's just me following them around as they hang out and do what it is they do...(i'm still not exactly sure what it is they do?).
Since this kind of photography is new to them too, these girls are still kinda flighty and hard to keep up with and maybe they don't always take the best direction ...they always want to pose how they think they should pose and they want the background a certain way. they call it creative control. i call it a pain in the *&^*!!!!
...And they have to have snacks and water breaks and dang, can those chicks eat!....(yeah, you should hear them cackle and squawk when they don't get their way::: can you say DIVAS!!!)
Somewhere along the way i gave in to the process.
But, for me they certainly made up for it in the finished product.
Here's a few we settled on and i'm thinking of including some of them in my 2012 calendar.
First, we have Muffy, in white. dark and moody despite her color selection.
Second is Christine, i went for the eyes in this one. she just has a sparkle about her.
Next is Ivey, she's all about the green, so into nature and just so laid back.
Next up were the twins, "lady orange" and her twin..."sister marmalade". what can i say about these two, except, it's true...twice the trouble, double the fun!!!
The last shoot of the day was Dona, a fearless smalltown home girl who made every one else feel at ease. we eventually wrapped it up a little early and actually got everyone home in time for dinner.
So, that's what i've been up to lately. sometimes you gotta make do, photographically speaking, with what you have on hand.
