Anticipating that the new challenge was going to be "old signs on fences or walls in older rural towns" June and I recently headed off to Florala, Alabama, on the Florida-Alabama line (hence the name). On the way we came across this nice signed fence in Laurel Hill, Florida.

Upon reaching the downtown metropolitan area of Florala, we discovered this nicely signed wall on the side of the old drug store next to the old gas station, complete with truck door. It's not often you get a sign wall with an attached truck door.

I was also intrigued by the building's front side. In turns out that this is not only the drug store, but also the Hotel Geroni o, a somewhat unusual combination.

And what trip to the downtown metropolitan area of Florala would be complete without a picture of the sign in front of Betty's Fireworks? Betty sounds like an interesting lady.

We even stopped by the local park and came across this nice bridge and shadows.

And on the way home we came across this interesting topless shot in Crestview, Florida.
