This was going to be the last full day at the causeway, so we spent it walking. From the previous day, it was warmer, but from a week previous, it was nice a cool.

The turtles were out laying their eggs. This one decided the campground made a good nesting spot.

This heron/egret made a striking pose on a post.

Berries were coming on fine, yummy looking.

And of course there were flowers.

And the sunset that night . . . well, I'm sure the sun did set, but we go involved with a movie and missed it. : (

MrQ - those berries do look good, and the turtle looks like its making a mess. I like the egret's hero pose.

Striking pose and flower 2 are my favs!! The blue against dark green background on flower 2 is very eye pleasing!

my favorites are the flower pictures, but then again I love flower pictures, really like the DOF in the last one.

looks like you caught dew/water drops on the first flower (I like that), beautiful purple color in the last one and yes, good dof also. what are the berries---sure look good and I like the way you 'caught' them
