The hibiscus are blooming in style.  Here is a couple of them

For the challenge:  Hibiscus 1  I liked how the overlapping petals made a fan-like look, and the silhouette effect of unopened pods.

    it does look like a fan.....I also like the shadows....and can see the the blue bird is still hanging around for added color...

    I choose 1 also.  Excellent challenge entry.  I wonder if you lightened shadows if it would bring any detail in the dark part. You wouldn't want much. Great as is though.
