Ruth. It is so dry here in Missouri that I bet if I took pictures of my yard, they'd look an awful lot like your desert shots. No kidding. :)
Real nice shots.

Trees! Clouds!! Water!!! Are you sure you're in the same state?
Really liked the reflection, even if it was red.
- Quack! Quack!
Yep, ditto to the duck. Nice skies.
MrQ, AZ is a very diverse state, it all depends on the elevation and how much rain and snow they get,(yes we have a couple of ski resorts here in AZ) that dictates what grows in that part of the state These pictures are taken at a place that the elevation is about 5,000 feet. We live at 3,350 feet. Along the Colorado River the elevation is about 400 feet.

the clouds in #121 do not seem real (I like the formation)..#122 I like how you have the piece of wood slight to the left and the eye travels on up to top of area...and the resting place (bench) sure looks like a great place to stop for awhile..
You have a way of composing your shots that make them interesting. Must be from all the practice you get ;-) When we've visited your area, my shots come out looking like random pictures, not good photos.
