Saw a pretty cool rainbow a few days ago...it was the most vivid rainbow I'd ever seen!  I didn't have my camera with me though, of course, because I never have it when I see something cool. When I got home, I grabbed it and went back out, but by then it had already started to fade.    But still, thought I'd share!

    tete - nice colors, yep. A polarizer can help make the colors even more pronounced. Just point the lens at the rainbow and turn the polarizer outer ring and watch the colors go from almost gone to their most vivid.

    You live on an Air Force base? (I work at Eglin).

    One of those things I've been meaning to get but never got around to!

    Ah, yes, Warner-Robbins--it's practically just around the corner from us here at Eglin. I think we sometimes send planes there when there's a hurricane coming our way. Thank you, both of you, for you service and sacrifices on our behalf. Plus, we haven't seen any baby pictures in awhile. How are we supposed to keep track of the little urchin? ;-)

    am like you, by the time I can get a camera in hand the rainbow has dimished a little.....thanks for your service and Robbins Bennet is not too far from my area.......whenever I see a rainbow one of my thoughts is--things are going to be alright....
