I've got some pictures processed, uploaded, and ready to show you.
MsQ and I took a week off and went to the North Shore of Minnesota, that is the northern shore of Lake Superior. Days were nice to a little warm, nights cool, good for sleeping. Only had a threat of rain one day, good for camping, not so good for photography.
The shore line is old volcanic rock, and thus quite rugged.
Shore line 2, at the bottom is the Gooseberry River, then a small cove, then a larger cove (laughingly called a beach and where I took most of my sunrise shots), then the lake.
Gooseberry Falls 2, most of the north shore is like this, very rugged.
Waves, with a little wind, waves would start crashing on the shore. We camped about a quarter mile away and at times could still hear them.
