new Nikon

as you know I shoot mostly Canon but I did have a few old Nikons and some lenses for them so I asked Andy if I could get the new Nikon D600. I was torn between this one and the D800 but I didn't want that many megapixels. Got it by FedEX yesterday afternoon checked out the manual and took it for a trail run this morning to Laughlin NV

fish - congratulations on the precision instrument. I know my 700 is really good at doing low-light interior shots. Apparently, the 600 is equally adept. Nice shots. I've thought about the 800, too, but I think it would lose some of that ability through using pixels that are so much smaller, even though there are incredible, amazing number of them.

I'd say it is working very well fish! Beautiful images. Love them Double Bonus video Poker Machines! Might be playing one tomorrow. We're heading up to the Island Resort and Casino (Escanaba, MI) to see "The Guess Who". Always loved their music. Only two original members left but according to their FB page they sound good as ever. Like them shorts Andy has got on! If he had on a camo shirt we wouldn't be able to see him :>).

Dub, that is why I passed on the D800 also, I think it was too many pixels on the sensor, when I heard the rumors about this one I waited till it came out. Pre-ordered it at B&H
Mack good luck tomorrow , we lost today, well I guess you can't win all the time,
