We had some beautiful wildflowers that bloomed everywhere, but now they have past their prime for the season Faded Beauty  --but never fear--they will be back another year...

While driving on one the old roads in the county a few weeks ago trying to find something to 'shoot' this just  barn original       caught my eye...did a little hdr on this one....... An Old Barn

    Faded Beauty is just wonderful, love the simple lines.

    Barn - I noticed the HDR really bought out the blue sky, and that cloud.  The cloud really fooled me, had to go back to the original to check what was going on.  OH, I think it's a neat old barn.

    I like the flower shot a lot for its simplicity. The barn shot is nice, but I think I would have shot it from more of an angle, rather than straight on.

    Like the dof on Faded Beauty!

    Great job on the HDR and Dubs suggestion is well taken but it is a nice capture as is.

    Thanks, and I will go back and try to take another shot of the barn at an angle--it is not that far from where I live---and maybe there will be some 'fall colors' in the background...for the past few days it has been rainy/and very cool..hopefully in about a week I will be able to get back to the 'barn'

    LOVE the barn in HDR!!  It brings out so much detail!!  Faded beauty's simplicity is super; well done!
