Fall in Northern AZ
So, first off this is my first post here, so if I don't do everything quite right please give me a chance.
A couple of weeks ago my parents came to visit and took them to the Flagstaff Arboretum and up to Humphrey's Peak. It was a great day the sun was out and the temperature was perfect. It was the first chance I had really had to try out my new camera. Here a a few of the pictures from that trip, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Yellow and Orange |

Welcome to Photographica. You are off to a great start with these beautiful images. The only thing I see is that Yellow seems a little blown out and soft. It might be the processing and meant to be, not sure.
Looking forward to future posts. Post often!!

Welcome to Photographica. Excellent first post, nothing wrong with it.
I'll second Mack's opinion of the yellow on the flowers, a little too bright for me.
I really liked the last one, gold and blue.

Mackinawman and Mr Quackers,
Thank you both for taking a look and the warm welcome. I went back and looked at both of the flower pictures... It doesn't look like I did any post process with them, that was just how they came off the camera. I'm actually not very good at correcting things afterward. So, that is something I will need to work on, thank you both for the feed back.

Allow me to also welcome you to Photographica! This was a very nice first post. Looks to me like you got the hang of it right off. Yellow and Orange was my favorite shot. Great colors, nice sharpness and I like where the bee is in the composition. Keep up the good work and I hope you do a better job of posting than I do!

wile - welcome to Photographica and I really enjoyed your shots, especially that first one. Great color, great composition and very sharp macro. I agree that the second flower shot is a little blown out. If you have an exposure adjustment somewhere on your camera, crank it back a stop when you have sunlit, bright yellow like this. It will help bring the details back. And aspens are my favorite trees, but I don't get to see them very often now that I live in Florida. Thanks for sharing those against that rich blue Arizona sky.

Welcome! I like yellow & orange, though I agree it is a little bright! I also really like line of gold. I don't get to see too many pretty fall colors here in GA!
