Halloween is quickly coming upon us.  So in the spirit of all things gruesome, let's see how you celebrate.

Carving is always an art, so I carved Art.

Going out at night can be scary, especially for the little ones.  Tell them to be careful.  You never know what is lurking in the shadows.  Nice Kittie

 I hope you are able to collect all sorts of goodies.  I know I did.

Considering the previous picture.  I was looking for just the proper prop, when it occurred to me it was right hand.

    Art  -  Artistic carving is an art no matter what you carve.

    Nice Kittie -  Would not like to meet in a dark alley on Halloween but on the other hand he seems a tad in-mobel.

    right hand  -  If your predominately right handed this might be your last post or a transfusion might be in order.

    YO HOOOOOO!!  A lot of fun MrQ.  I've never seen a pumpkin carved with as much detail as your kitty...what?...it's not pumpkin?...drats, pass the rum.

    Halloween is not something we usually celebrate here in Australia, but we are slowly coming around to it. Each year it becomes more and more visible with more shops selling Halloween products, Halloween parties being celebrated and many local areas putting on Halloween events. Occasionally we get kids trick or treating. I think it would have been great fun to celebrate it as a youngster in the US. I enjoyed the fun of the images and the watermelon carving was a different approach I have never seen - usually it's pumpkins right? LOL!

    dazz, it is pumpkins that are carved. I am not very good at it but did try my hand at doing it when the kids were little

    MrQ - great set for the holiday and nice job of art making. I especially like the third shot, gruesome as it is. ;-) And fine job on the jack-o-watermelon.
