I like the way that you used the negative space in the pool. It brings out more of the body.

These really don't do anything for me. There are ways of showing the curves of the body, and the subtle features of a woman. I don't mean to sound crass, but most of these pictures look like amateur porn photos. I think there is potential in Sandy 004, 003, and 002. Sandy004 is probably the best of the bunch. If you get more contrast in 003, and 002 I think they could be nice pictures.

Regardless of what this is, I think photographica needs one policy on stuff like this. People browse these pictures at work, and stuff like this would get them fired. It's not that I have a *problem* per say it's jus that authors who post this kind of stuff should probably tag it is being Not Safe For Work (or in fark speak: NSFW)
Course, i'd say the title "my nude art gallery" is a tag enough.
So, in short - if you think somebody could get fired looking at your pics while they are at work (or school, or library, etc), you should be safe and NSFW it.

I really think these mostly look like snapshots of a woman who just happens to have no clothing on. Perhaps not very artistic, but also nowhere near porn. I think 17,18 and 19 are quite good portraits.
I find pictures of nudes wearing watches amusing...

i agree that is is porn and not nude art due to them just being nude in a pool. they should be more artistic and a few colored..not black and white.

Most 'artistic' nudes ARE black and white. This is mainly because b/w conveys form, texture and shape more than color because there are no colors to distract the viewer from these aspects of the photo. However I have seen some very artistic color nudes that do a very good job of conveying same. What makes these particular shots seem more porn than art is that there are too many in the set, they are not concentrating on the shape of the form, they do not convey a sense of depth, and they are more like 'snapshots' than fine art photography. Nudes as art are one of the toughest to pull off effectively. I have not mastered the art of nude artistry yet, so I choose not to post any of them. I see these photos more as the model is simply an exhibitionist, not a nude model. As to the photographer I would say keep practicing and quit trying to show the entire body, pool or no pool. The pool IS a distraction but used in the right way could make a powerful artistic statement. One thing to remember in good nude photos...leave the viewer guessing. Make them see the whole model in thier mind's eye. Get up close and use lighting more effectivly.

Sorry, I have to agree, it's neither art nor porn, just pictures of a nude woman. Honestly, they look like a picture a tourist would take of their wife in the hotel pool, only without clothes. I don't see how the nudity adds anything at all to the picture other than showing off. If exhibitionism is what you were aiming for, it was captured, but I can't really say I see anything else in them.
