    These are neat planes, Kerry! The one of the inside panels....no way could I do that! Too much stuff to keep an eye on! Is this a museum in SD? Busy works at one, and they have new planes in there all the time. Do these always stay, or are they swapped out? So, you being a pilot, do you have your own plane......

    I flew a UH2 gun ship ... 1st Cav. Viet Nam 67-68 (5th. Special Forces) and Medivac out of Chu-Lai (China Beach)70-71...

    Your right SG, ...I'm missing both my little toes I guess... Ist flight..12 sec. Dec. 17th 1903 and on Sept. 21st 1908 they reached a air time of 1hr 31mins and 25sec...a record at the time...I find it hard to balance with out my little toes...and I can't have the little piggy go weee weee weee...all the way home either.

    No Moose... that was last week... we accually have annual passes to all the museums, the zoo and wild animal park.. the Midway and the tall ships... Sea World.... the PX ... cant remember what else.... oh.... my boat is docked at the Lido and the plane is housed at Brown Field.... if you still want the the free tickets for the photo caraven at the Wild Animal Park ... there still yours....

    I want to go on a family outing with you SG, you go to the fun spots....I haven't been to a zoo in.....hmmm........about 20 years. We do a tall ships thing here in MI, they travel through the Great Lakes.

    Thx for the shots! I've been interested in aviation since I was little. Reminds me of the science and aviation museum in DC. My HS aerospace instructor was a bomber pilot in WW2 and a relative was a fighter pilot stationed in England.

    what a cool post! Love those old planes...really liked the background in #11, you could almost believe it was real--and the poor guy in #12 nearly lost his head! So what is the name of this museum--I wanna go there next time I'm in SD (hopefully next summer) and drag my buddy along.

    You got some good shots. That museum is really awesome. I was just there last spring...my friends and I were turned loose at the Smithsonians for 4-5 hours during a school trip and spent 3/4 of our time in that museum...we didn't make it to any of the others.
