Big Cats are without a doubt, one of the most beautiful animals on our planet.. and to photograph them from the other side of the glass was indeed a thrill and a treat... enjoy...
Love the one peeking from behind the tree in the first one! There is a "big cat" refuge close to where I live, some are even roaming "free" now I want to go there and take pics.........
These pictures were taken during a special day prior to the opening of this superior habitat for
the African Lion... It is located at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.. The display is called, Lion Camp... this day a special area for thoes involved with the funding for the display was provided and we .. got to do this... Today there is a place that the public can view the cats from a far greater distance... but worth the time to visit.. there is no finer experience in critter picture taking...
The direct look in photos 2 & 5 would have made my hair stand up on the back of my neck! How close were you? These are beautiful creatures and your photos are really good.
