it was cold and i wasn't in the mood to take pictures.
i did manage a few and here are some that i liked after messing with contrast in photoshop.

I agree SG, but one of the things I liked about clouds were the showdows they were casting on the trees. Like highlights or something. Thanks for commenting!

*love* the repetition in canoes and the color. Clouds looks, almost unreal. if you're into PS, I bet you could go somewhere with that unreality. #2 is a unique angle and I always like weathered surfaces. nice!

I like the dock shot, but, canoes is a little over saturated for my tastes. Great comp on that shot, though! :)

Dock is my favorite...the canoes were too green for me..........as for the clouds, like to take pictures of them also...something different all the time.

thanks for the comments everyone. a few mentioned the color of the canoes and so i wanted to post an unedited version as well. i tend to like the surreal more that just the raw shot. I obviously cropped a bit too! :-)

I love cloud shots. I feel that the raw shot of the canoes is better than the other one. Good composition.

I hate to agree with you Jay but I liked the first (saturated) canoe shot! Oh, you haven't thanked me for nominating you for the next theme 8o) Whatcha gonna do give it to those poor elementary kids as an assignment.

I did too! Go back and check the comments on your assignment post! :-) As for my students, I gave them all a turn with a digital camera for a few days. They had to take it home and come back and do a project on their life using the pictures in PowerPoint. They loved it. I may weed through some and post a few if I can get permission from parents. :-)
