Door County Sunset

My wife and I recently went on vacation to Door County Wisconsin.  It is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been, and we've been many places.  The sunsets there are the most beautiful I've ever seen.Popup LinkSunset These photos were taken at Sister Bay, exept for the lighting photo.Popup LinkLightning Shot It was taken one night near Gills Rock.  This is my first story here.  I hope you enjoy reading it and looking at my pictures.  I have certainly enjoyed looking at your pictures.  Thank You!

    All this water & it's vast intensity of mystery & life. I only know where I am, everywhere else is a distant blur. don't mean to scare you away with my feeble attempt at poetry but only to let you know how i relate to rather being on water too.... i literally crave it and your pictures made me want to be on a boat soooo bad- b-e-a-utiful! :)

    Welcome to the site. I really like all of your shots. Lightning is very good. Did you use a tripod? All of the sunsets with the boats in them are wonderful. I would take any one of them to mount on a wall. Hope to see more of your pictures soon.

    Wow! Thank you all for the great comments. I sincerely appreciate them. To answer Lidljo's question, yes I did use a tripod. I used a 2 second delay so that I wouldn't move the camara when I pushed the shutter button.
