  • make me drool.... Do you prefer Nikon over Cannon? I want a Cannon rebel because then my lenses will be compatable. Nice find

  • Perhaps one of the editors can move this off the front page. I posted it to Articles and Reviews. As far as Nikon vs. Canon, I've voted Nikon, but for much the same reason you're thinking Canon...lenses.

  • I still want a Nikon D200...but outa my price range for a few more months, so I guess I'll have to be content with my (pretty awesome) D70s for a while longer...

  • My canon eos 5d came today. I'm still waiting for the battery to charge, but I can't wait to use it. It should be a happy occasion, why do other people have to be such pooheads?

  • I was talking to my brother last night on the phone about the diff. between the two Nikon/Cannon and he said he still would go with Nikon. He has been out of Photography for years now and is nervous about getting back in as he has never shot digital, big curve for him not using film. I shot him this info and looks like he will go with this D80. Of course he knows all about photography, unlike me so I can hardly wait to see him shoot again...he was good.

  • Great that he's getting back into it. If he knows photography he'll do well with digital. After all, it's still about photography, only the imaging substrate has changed.
