I love going to the fair to see the animals.  We saw horses, cows, chickens, rabbits, pigs, a Popup Linktwo toed  Popup Linksloth, a kangaroo,  Popup Linklion cubs, a monkey,  Popup Linkeveryone knows what this is and a few other animals.

  • Really love the tiger!! But I don't remember these animals being at the county fairs that I have gone to.

  • It was a special thing this year. The people that own the exotic animals have a large farm in Michigan. They go all over the state with them. You can tell by the way they interact with the animals they truly love them. The tiger was fantastic. You could tell he loved his owners. They would go by him and he would jump up and run right to them to play. The man told us he is fun to play with but getting a little big and rough. He was about a yr old. They also said it costs around $10,000 to feed a tiger for a year.

  • I agree with KayN, wish ours had some exotic animals. My boss raises bears, but they didn't bring them around this year. The youngest bear is too big to take around people that he doesn't know. I would love to pet the kitties, they are so cute!!! :o)

  • Hopefully after they leave the fair the owners have a much better place for the animals to roam......Like the lion cubs.

  • Great shots. My favorite is the lion cub. It was love at first bite. The 10k/yr to feed the tiger is impressive.

  • I talked to the people a lot. I believe by the way they talked that they have a very nice life at home. The one day it was hot so they put a large watering trauff (SP?) in with the tiger. I loved watching him play in it. I also think that if the animals were mistreated they wouldn't act so loving to the owners. You could tell they loved the owners. I am an animal lover and I did not feel the least bit sorry for these animals. They get them as babies that are orphans and raise them. They kept the cages very clean and all of them had toys water and some expensive food. The local butchers must love these people.
