Pitigliano, Italy

This is a beautiful place we visited a few years back in Italy.
These particular pictures were in and around the town that was built in ancient times on volcanic rock. The town is in the Tuscany area of Italy.

The whole city was built out of the volcanic rock and there are hundreds of caves that they use for storage.

P2, P4 & P5 for me. The town shots are beautiful, how did you not get lost? My WOW spot, tho, is the night shot in P2. Outstanding

    - togetherness.....

Wow! Gorgeous shots of Italy. I've only seen places like Naples, Bari and Brendisi, but this place is amazing with the lights at night.

    - go take some pictures you

(how did you not get lost?) It was easy the first day or so. There were lots of alleys and steps leading everywhere. But the city was all enclosed and only one way out. (Only one post in a 24 hour period. Check question and answers for the rules. Thanks.) Sorry about the breaking of rules. I wanted to shift my entry time from morning to night time and was anxious to upload new pictures.

It's ok, the post police won't hang you on the first offense. And you're not the first to do it (we've had some post 5-6 times in a row... even after telling them). As for the pictures.... 6 & 1 look a little over-sharpened to me. 2 is beautiful, love the lighting, 4 & 5 have excellent color and detail. And I have a constructive tweak for 4 though... crop out the bright white sky in the upper left corner. It's small, but distracting because it's so bright and it's the only element in the image that's that bright. Plus, you get rid of the bright white and it'll make the colors in everything else pop much more.

(As for the pictures.... ) This is what I am looking for. Good constructive criticism. Thanks 6 & 1 had too much of the surrounding area and once cropped, they were enlarged just to give an idea of where I took the other pictures.
