Spring is here....I hope

I usually don't go to crazy when I see a calf.  Around here you see a lot of them. Yes they are cute. But most don't really stand out to me. I was actually waved over to my cousins while passing by. Just to take shots of the new additions.  I fell in love with this little one with the heart on its head.  But that is not the only thing that set it apart from most.  I know this last shot is a snapshot but it shows the size difference in the two of them.  They were both born on the same day.  But look how tiny the one with the heart is.  Unfortunately I was in a hurry to get home after I took these and chit chatted for a bit.  Otherwise I could have had a shot of a new born...and I mean NEW  mommy angus was cleaning the brand new little bull up.

Penny, Thank You ... Thank You ... Thank You!! ... I worked my way through college working on a Dairy Farm and the last 2 years of school my job was to take care of the new calves ... Unfortunately I haven’t been back at Dairy Farm since then ... Thank you again for bringing back all of those wonderful memories!! ... This is a most special set!!

How can you not turn to mush when you see new calves? I love the one with the heart especially.
