tiger lil was on the prowl and came across another siberian tiger and a very pretty bengal but mama lioness was watching out for the hyenas that looked very hungry and they had their eyes out for any animal on the african plains hope you enjoyed the trip.

Wonderful animal shots love that you have Hyena and they're kept really nice...You know I love big cats so I tell you this from year of studying tigers the White Tiger that you have above is a Bengal just like the orange tiger. White genes are only in Bengal Tigers. There has never been a single white Siberian Tiger in history. There may be crossbreed out there but I don't a resposible zoo would have one...

  • My apologies I got the photos mixed up the one labeled Bengal is a siberian,though it might be possible in that 1 in 10,000 tigers of any of the 5 remaining subspecies can be born white with a possible gene mutation per wikipedia Siberian tigers have more white in their coats than other subspecies and coat colour is more gold than orange. Compared to other subspecies, the Siberian tiger has less striping, the stripes being more brown than black. Stripes appear largely absent on the outer area of the front legs.The Siberian tiger is bred within the Species Survival Plan (SSP), a project based on 83 wild caught tigers. According to most experts, this population is large enough to stay stable and genetically healthy. Today, approximately 160 Siberian tigers participate in the SSP, which makes it the most extensively bred tiger subspecies within the programme.
