    Gerberas are one of my favorites...nicely done Penny! Such a contrast between the thumb and the post..one is "baby" soft in color and comp.,while your thumb is very dramatic!

    Love how the focus breaks away on the outer edges. Much more effective than all in focus. Did you try different f-stops to achieve? Nice job!

    I also think the focal effect is very nice. I like it better than the thumb, though that is very nice too. Pretty colors on top of it. Your cold weather and snow must be long gone. That is nice, until next year.
