I LOVE muscular sky. The subtle blue are nice and the variations in the light in the clouds really adds a nice demension to the two shots. I wish though that either there was more ground at the bottom of the images or none at all. I think they're strong enough to stand without the ground.
Great job capturing the lightning as well. The 2nd is my pick of those two.
