I read a story about a man in California who could not build a house on his five acres of land because they found the skeliton of a Kangaroo rat in one corner of the property. Yes, to some, certain creatures are more important than we are. That is not to say that we should ignore the plight of the creatures, but certainly killing off so many other ones for the sake of a few cannot be the answer.
