This morning, I made it downtown before the sun came up. So I went across the bridge and got set up and took some pictures of downtown Portland as the sun was coming up.
This first pan was taken at
7:20am. You can still see the lights on the Hawthorne bridge. And the focus was fantastic. 13 shots at ISO100, f/10, 5 second exposures
This second pan was after the sun was more firmly in the sky. See how the sky has turned?
7:42am. 12 shots at ISO100, f/5, 1/15 second exposures.
After I left there, I went to work. Looking out the window towards the sunrise, I could see fog nestled in among the trees and hills in the east. It was stunning.
8:19am. 18 shots at ISO 100, f/22, 1/15 second exposures.
All of the images were stitched together using Autostitch (http://www.autostitch.net/). After stitching at 100% using linear blending, I loaded them into Photoshop, cropped them to where I wanted them, then applied an Auto Contrast. Finally, a pass with CSpro (http://www.fredmiranda.com/).
Enjoy. Or heck, maybe purchase? :)
