I choose a room I spend a lot of time in.  The family room/living room.  I mainly went micro like most of you did for my shots.

I had to get out the tripod for a few of them because I didn't want to use a flash on some.

When we livedin Chicago the lady below us had a junk shop I always saw Dog Catchers in the window and thought it was funny.  She gave it to me for my birthday.

A collection of rocks we got from the San Juan Island in Washington, we put in a stone bowl.  We made a Rock Garden

A buddha that I picked up in NY, and the tree was made by an old friend/co-worker.  We always put this Serenity up on the shelf itself

We picked up this Pitcher at a antique store in England.  It's not very valuable by any means, but it just looked nice.
