I Spent Four Days On The Upper Delaware River On The Boarder Of Pennsylvania And New York, Helping The Eagle Institute With Their Annual Winter Eagle Count. The Bald Eagles Migrate Down From Canada And Northern United States Too This Area Every Year To Spend The Winter Months. The Eagles Arrive In December And Stay Until March. In Four Days We Spotted And Counted 43 Bald Eagles. Here Is A Shot I Captured Of A Mature Adult Bald Eagle Taking Flight From The River Bank. Take Notice Of How The Eagle Uses It's Powerful Talons To Push Off From The Ground And It's Strong Wings Too Take Flight. What An Amazing Sight To See! "I Would Be A Poorer Man If I Never Saw An  Popup LinkEagle Fly". From The Song Rocky Mountain High By John Denver.
