There was a county wide "Rapid Water Rescue" practice this morning. The weather was terrible, i.e., cloudy, drizzly, wet, etc. The same is being predicted for the next week or so.

Anyway, while at the practice I had casually mentioned that I had to take a picture at exactly 11:00 CDT. That was a mistake, as I kept hearing this same voice over and over saying, "Can I be in the picture? Please, please, oh please. Can I, can I, huh, can I? Pretty please?"

Well, being the kind sort that I am, I finally gave in and said, "Okay, I guess so."

Was it just me, or was there a distinct drop of availabe light as I snapped the shutter. Almost as if light all over the world was being sucked up at that very instant.
