Recently spent a week working in Taipei, which is a fascinating Asian city.  Although the weather was mostly too hot and too overcast, I did manage to shoot some decent photos (I think, anyhow).

And there are a few historical monuments, such as the National Theatre and the CKS Memorial Hall,  IMG13 IMG12 IMG9 which I really wish I could have photographed at night.

The Danshui River is a cool place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon, especially since it's not really a tourist destination IMG8 IMG7 IMG6  popup> IMG6a
The Night Markets are when the city seems to really come alive IMG10 but they look totally different and a lot more subdued the next morning !IMG2.  

Finding breakfast was always an adventure IMG5 IMG1, especailly at rush hour IMG4, but it's really a beautiful and fascinating city. IMG3 IMG16
