During our two day visit to Yosemite I took about 100 photos.  One could stop every few feet to capture great views, and surely several photo ops were missed. Presented here is just a small sample.

 Most old Sequoias have "burn scars."  The trees are very hardy and during their long lifetime manage to survive forest fires

This tree fell in 1927.  The trees do not rot and and are practically impervious to insects  & varmits
