If you're squeamish don't look at these.

Yesterday evening I was walking around the yard looking for something to shoot while Barb was cutting grass.  I found a dead chipmunk, maybe hit by a car, fresh cause the blood was still red and not dried.  I took a picture.
This morning I went back to check on it and it was gone.  There were some flies, bugs, and some bees around but no chipmunk.  At first, I thought probably a possum got it but they would probably eat it where it was at. So, I figured a dog or something took it away.  Either way, thru the chipmunk's pain and suffering life continues for some others.
