The trail to get to the falls was probably at least a mile, but it was well worth it in the end. I ended up hiking through a few feet of water to get where I took this, but it was very refreshing. Unfortunately, the light was just horrid during the time of day I went (I think it was around 11 AM or 12PM).
If you go, I'd advise going in the fall before the snow comes down and 242 is closed for winter; go in the spring and you'll probably get lots of mist like I did, getting a bad picture.
