The other morning (Friday) I decided that I needed a day off.  I wanted to go to one of my favorite places which is about 2 hours from the house...so I got all of my gear together...loaded up the truck and got up early in the morning and took off.  I got about a mile from my place...looked in my rear view mirror and saw the morning coming together nicely.  About a half hour later...after my first cup of coffee and 15 miles later I saw this beautiful valley with all of the early morning mist still clinging to all of the tree tops.

Still a little later in the day I came to this wonderful mountain lake...it was awesome...I had it all to myself....except for two bears that were on the other side...didn't want to get too close to take their pictures....  About 30 minutes later I got back in the truck and went a couple of miles and had to stop again for this view......all of this and I still haven't made it to my destination.............tomorrow I'll give you the next few miles of my trip.

Bugaboo, tomorrow I'll show you where I go to cool off on those hot days.  Here, if it gets to be 75 degrees, it begins to get a little uncomfortable.  a couple of weeks ago we set records here when we hit 97 degrees.  I thought I was dying....
