Constitution Day

Today was Constitution Day at school, so we had a special bulletin board explaining the constitution to the children, and a place for them to sign a scroll with a quill and ink.  We also watched a special DVD explaining the constitution in children's language.  I gather that this is suppose to be a National Day in schools to better acquaint our young people with the Constitution of the United States.  I worked at this today, but my Third Graders had a hard time understanding what this means to them.
