The Painted Church

On the Kona side of the big island Hawaii, is a small Catholic church known as the Painted Church. Inside you'll find bright colors and murals, all painted by a Father John Velge between 1899 and 1904. This Prist had no art training...but that didn't stop him. Since then they have moved the church further in land and there is some damage to some of the murals.
It's pretty cool.
