To insert a photo into your story follow these steps.
First go to your new stories  page.
Select your photo from the dropdown  menu then click “insert”
The name of the photo will correspond to the name you gave it when you uploaded it.
If you wish you can change the text from the photo for your story, just changethis text  in the tag. (don’t change any thing else in this or your photo will not appear.)
Always preview your story before you post it to make sure it looks the way you want it to.
