This was a mixed feeling event, part joyous as the canal was finally being cleansed! part sad as we witnessed a neighbor and friend's LIFE exposed. She was fine, had evacuated and moved near her family up north.
This is reality and raw... I have intentionally left out the images of bottles of perfume and body powder that floated by me as I sat in morning on the dock of my Fathers pier.Shoes and household items The rubber glove was the end for me! wierd.
The neighborhood rejoyced in the idea that this 'small' part of a ravaged area was finally being cleansed!
All where saddened that the owner of this property had moved on.
She approved of this day.And so did we. We called her and told her of the day!
A good day on the canal.

so the motor had stirred the water so much that the crabs were Spooked. ahh well.
